Fall is a great time for a chemical peel

Medical-grade chemical peels are an excellent way to refresh your skin with benefits to include younger looking skin, treating hyperpigmentation, melasma, or discoloration, helping patients with moderate to severe active acne or scarring, those with sun damage, or even those who are simply suffering from a lackluster complexion. Basically anyone can benefit from a chemical peel. One of the most popular peels in the industry has been the Vi Peel. But there is a peel that comes with better results for your skin and your wallet!

The Perfect Derma Peel

The Perfect Derma Peel was developed by one of the original creators of the Vi Peel and is very similar to the Vi Peel, but with one major difference: Glutathione. In fact, The Perfect Derma Peel is the only medical-grade peel that includes Glutathione. This powerful  antioxidant delivers impressive skin lightening and anti-aging benefits, while also helping to prevent wrinkles. Because of the added Glutathione and the pH level of The Perfect Derma Peel, the results are more significant than competing peels, including the Vi Peel.

This peel also offers two optional boosters that take your treatment to an entirely new level. The Perfect Derma Peel Plus Booster can be coupled with the peel for people with stubborn hyperpigmentation, including melasma. It is also beneficial for those with thick, oily, or resilient skin, sun damage, such as Actinic Keratosis, and age spots on the hands, arms, and chest. The Perfect Derma Peel Clear Acne Booster features Benzoyl Peroxide to target moderate to severe acne, as well as acne scars on both the face and the body.

What Can I Expect?

The process is easy! The application of the peel takes about 15 minutes. You will begin to peel thin sheets of skin around day 3 of the peel process, and will continue to peel for 2-4 days. During this time, sun exposure and intense physical activity are not advised, which is exactly why the cold months are the perfect time for the perfect peel! From the day of the application, to the day your skin has completed peeling, is about 6-7 days. For individuals with more severe skin conditions, such as deep hyperpigmentation, scarring, or active acne, a series of 2-3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart may be recommended. However, visible results can be seen after one peel. So imagine….one week from now, you could be loving your skin! What are you waiting for?!
